To be honest I didn't quite understand you. As far as GM events go we have: Poring Catcher, GM Bombering and Reverse Dice. Afaik, Poring Catcher only gives you Muh Coin when you find and kill the right Poring. GM Bombering will reward you more coins the longer you survive, play well and you get up to 96 Muh Coins. Someone who enters and do nothing gets 6. Feels competitive enough to me. Just so I even try to get in the way of my friends.
Those aside, Reverse Dice is the only one that rewards for participation, but you can say it's due to the nature of the event. Still, you won't get as much Muh Coin surviving a few rounds compared to actually winning the event. In the end, you only receive meaningful reward if you actually play, so I'm not quite sure what's your point.
