I'm agains't it.
Being an official feature doesn't buy me, a lot of stuff is Official and clearly isin't "healthy", like those crazy jRO items or that Divine Guard Helm that spams like crazy. (it's that RG hat that cast Genesis Ray and Tuna Bellly when you cast Holy Cross, there's YTB videos showing how broken it is). Also, Muh isin't official, the good thing of being a private server is the judgement to not implement something that may be unhealthy just because is an official feature on vanilla servers. We know that a lot of official stuff are designed to sell rather than making the game balanced/fair/fun.
Mystical Amplification is and should be a feature to AM imho, since the class branch always was and will be focused on dealing heavy AoE magic damage, aside from other magic classes that also have their unique traits (EM having tons of control and support skill, SA being mobile and having access to most elements easily, and so goes on).
Also, I really don't think we desperately need more damage in the current content, and in the future as well, considering how powerful the EP20 items are. I have in my Guild, players that actually hits more than 1B damage, with a spammable skill, both with magic and physical classes. IMHO if you need even more damage, considering the BiS End-Game set we have atm, i'd say you're probally doing something that is not "designed" to Solo. Like CT. Just group, we barely have the need to form a party nowadays, we don't need even more individual forms of damage honestly, we do actually need more encouragement to party and play, that Scroll is the exact opposite way from it. It may cause more harm than good tbh.
