Context
Marionette Control
is a performer skill that allows a character in range to receive half of your base stats.
The only caveat is that their total stats can't exceed 99. Meaning if a stat is higher than that, it won't get any bonus.
A work-around for this is to reset your stats to 0, then apply Marionette Control, and then raise your stats like before. So you'll end up with your regular stats, plus the bonuses on top, bypassing this limitation.
Where is such a convoluted setup useful? In brewing! Of course. You can achieve very high LUK, DEX, and INT to improve your chances when crafting.
The Issue
Having to reset and raise your stats every time you want to brew potions is stupid!
Solution
Remove the 99 base stat limit. There's no point in keeping it if it can be bypassed.
The skill is already full of limitations (e.g. the caster can't use skills while active, must stay in range, etc.) that would prevent a more common usage outside of brewing. So right now it's only an inconvenience.
