I realized I may have posted the original in the wrong category.. But here goes:
I believe when BG was new, there was an option to have a duo queue, or queue in a party of 2. I understand why it was disabled especially when BG barely could run with the minimum numbers. However, now that we are consistently over 12+ players in bg, I think it would be an interesting addition to have partybg/duo queue available again. With that said, are we able to re-introduce this option again?
In my observation and experience, some players typically like to play with their friends/guild members (myself included), and I've seen players in bg who would have mutual agreements to not attack/debuff each other if they are on the opposite teams. I can understand their point of view, and so, why don't we just make duo/partybg official once again? Personally, when I started my pvp journey, I did not want to pvp unless I was with someone I know, and I'm sure I am not alone to feel like that.
While I recognize that having a duo queue could bring advantanges, normally BG sometimes run in odd numbers of players. Meaning, Blue team would have a +1 player more than Red Team. So I suggest, and if possible to have the +1 player on the opposite team of the duo queue.
However, if that is not possible, I think at the end of the day partybg would still allow a new dynamic of fun in bg for all participants alike.
Thank you for reading, and considering.
