Allow Ancilla to change the element of Arbitrium to neutral.

This is something that's been on my mind for a while. Priest has one main weakness, and it is that the main property of this class is holy. This is a problem when it comes to areas like Odin's temple, thanatos tower, biosphere, and some of the instance bosses.

The argument here is very simple: All other classes can in some way enchant their skills to change their elements. Priest, would have to change it's entire build in order to make that happen. So, I propose we give priest an alternative to Adoramus, so that it has the ability to do proper damage in more difficult areas.

The idea that Adoramus is allowed to be neutral, should just carry over to all the magical skills, like Framen, and even Judex. It already comes at a cost, it's just so limiting.

Your thoughts please.

Now that's an idea.
Globally speaking, I say we give any element-locked class an alternative one.
Most of those few jobs' 3rd classes already have been given a way to do that, dunno why it didn't carry over to their 4th classes.

jinbou Wouldn't be that big of a change tho (gameplay-wise anyway).
More like the extension of a pre-existing mechanic.
AB and RG already have a way to change their main skill's element from Holy to Neutral.
Dunno why this option doesn't extend to their respective 4th class, as it faces the same problem.
Without it, they are sorta element-locked.

I have to agree, Priests are meant to be holy. It's kinda their thing.. it'd be nice to see a neutral damage Arb. but, I personally am with @jinbou.

Also, if you don't like the holy damage.. you could do what I did and just go melee battle priest and have tons of fun with that (Speaking as a melee Battle Priest 😄)

KaptainPickles Yes, but that would require billions of investments, and would also turn me away from my wish to be a magic priest. I really like this skill, and I can't see myself playing priest any other way, so I'm limited to holy as an element because of it. Also, if I was going to go melee, I would just become an Asura Main. 😃

Also, Adoramus already has neutral, so your concern is already a reality, it's just weaker and iffy. Allowing a 4th job skill to become simply neutral is no concern to anyone, but the priest. I still can't endow fire, ice, wind, etc.

What I'm trying to say is, this cannot be abused in any way, it just provides a priest with another option they never had.

Now that its confirmed cardi and IG will get new neutral element skills, I think we can all agree that this suggestion should be invalid

jinbou Cardinal already has a neutral skill, and it's terrible. Having more than one option, considering another may also be terrible, won't hurt anyone. Your lore isn't broken because I can farm in a zone that you can farm on another alt, but having built a cardinal since day 1, I would appreciate the opportunity to use it, the way I used a bishop. Ancilla should just be a global neutral enchant for all priest skills, because that's the point of the skill in general. All other classes have the option to change their element, or have the elemental options already applied. I'm just asking for a skill to allow me to play the way everyone else plays.
