Hidden Mount

Hello guys, how are you? I would like to suggest to you an idea that I imagine has crossed everyone's mind, especially those who play with mount classes such as; DK, IG, Meister... My suggestion is very simple and consists of "hiding" the character's mount, since this is just a visual and quality of life thing, I'm not suggesting that all classes are like this, but that there is even another "alternative outfit " or some other way that allows us to hide the mount even when mounted on it and this also applies to IG's Griffin, Meister's Mecha... I don't see this as something very "strong" after all it's just visual, you don't need it if you don't want to , just leave it to whoever wants it to buy it, be it for muh coin, eden coin, zeny... I personally just wanted to be able to use my DK on maps with the costumes I like and without a weird dragon getting in the way

[deleted] Being very honest, I understand that there is this concern, but I disagree with this factor being an impasse to implement like this, the Dragon Breath animation for example in the 3rd was something very strong and even made some sense, but nowadays we play in 4rd and the skill animation will not drastically change the gameplay of these classes to the point that they become overpowered

All for this if its possible to implement without creating advantages and disadvantages for the classes. Partially because I'm biased towards IG cuz I love the IG's sprite and I don't mind paying in-game currency for this to be obtained once implemented.

For me as long as it doesnt drastically change any dps between non mounted vs mounted is fine… just dont wanna make a case where having a non mount became a must for increasing a certain class dps.

Tho idk how is it in pvp perspective tho since they play in 3rd job enviroment, which begs another suggestion to disable it in pvp setting

[deleted] I agree with you on this, I also don't want this to become something "necessary" to have a higher dps or something, it's just another "costume", nothing more than that

The animation topic is no issue anymore as with our skill-animation rework we've got full control about spamability of skills .
This is something we already have on our list for some time, so it might make it in, just no eta yet.

Just curious this will affect mado too??

Meister has some of the coolest human sprites but the mados are so ugly that they are on par with the dk's dragon sprite.
