Remove Temporal Crystal from Depth 2 items change.

Today, engaging in any farming activity other than acquiring the Time Dimension Magic Rune (1001556) and Abyss Magic Rune (1001555) seems futile within Depth 2. This predicament arises from the requirement of 5x Temporal Crystal (6607)) to convert Abyss Magic Rune Ore (1001554) into Abyss Magic Rune (1001555).

While this mechanism may seem logical on kRO, where players have been farming COGH and OGH N/H for years, it appears incongruous on our server. Here, farming Temporal Crystals is neither profitable nor efficient, resulting in a scarcity of this resource on the market.

The process of obtaining a single Abyss Magic Rune (1001555)significantly outpaces that of acquiring a single Temporal Crystal (6607). Consequently, this shift in required materials renders items such as Abyss Jewel Fragment (1001550), Time Dimension Jewel Fragment (1001551), Abyss Magic Jewel (1001552), Time Dimension Magic Jewel (1001553), and Abyss Magic Rune Ore (1001554) essentially obsolete for us.

For instance, when considering the exchange for a Time Dimension Magic Rune (1001556), while it necessitates a plethora of materials, the coherence of these requirements is acceptable, particularly in light of the need for Temporal Crystal (6607) to obtain the Abyss Magic Rune (1001555).

Acknowledging the necessity of Temporal Crystal (6607) implies accepting that the material conversion feature is essentially futile in approximately 90% of cases.

For this my suggestion is removing the need of Temporal Crystal (6607) or moving it to the Time Dimension Magic Rune (1001556) craft, however swapping the necessity of 5 to 1. Or completelly removing it from the list of materials, adding something more like Coagulated Spell (6608), Contaminated Magic (6755), Temporal Spell (25866) in lesser quantity then the ones need to convert a Time Dimension Magic Rune (1001556) or even swapping it for Sealed Temporal Circlet (25864). So having materials other than Time Dimension Magic Rune (1001556) and Abyss Magic Rune (1001555) won't feel useless.

it was initially 15 temporal crystals, now 5. they are testing the water and see whats the general reaction of the community. Keep giving feedback, maybe got chance to lower it from what it is now.

I was preparing a suggestion regarding this topic as well.

My proposal is similar. It consists of eliminating the Temporal Crystal requirement to obtain Abyss Magic Rune, but increasing the amount of Abyss Magic Rune Ore necessary to 10, 15 or 20, so that a balance is maintained and an excessive amount of Abyss Magic Rune is not obtained per this method, but if the current exchange is improved.

Actually i disagree with this suggestion especially from this sentence

if kRO player read your suggestion they would say "you guys able to spam instance easily, because leveling in your server really fast" and if you think this is not profitable you can always buy it from market and help the economy growth.

you said this "essentially obsolete for us", meanwhile Old Glast Heim could be an alternative to farm because the instance relatively easy and not much gear needed.

But if you still think farming OGH obsolete for the community, maybe better just ask them to delete OGH and other obsolete instance from warper because those are too old content and no one use the item from there anymore.

That would stimulate the economy a lot more than wiping out temporal crystals entirely.

I agree the current design is shit.
But it is only because people rarely run OGH/OGH's rewards are a bit underwhelming.

It does give something to do for newer players however.
An option I'd rather not remove.

All of your reasoning is nonsense, you are only thinking about yourself, your gear progression, and how to make this progress into easier path.

You can compare yourself with player in midgard tales or rockragnarok, both of those server still stick to original with 15 temporal crystals in material to exchange for abyss magic rune.

If you dont want to farm temporal crystals because they are neither profitable nor efficient. Just buy it from another player bro, this instance can be finished by newbie players with eden gears. This is another way for newbie to farm rather than sticking to geffenia.

LAC Yes, he did, but this isn't more difficult content, it's just annoying old content. I think his issue would be my issue as well, and that would be running instances. I generally dislike doing that, so this option seems more of an annoyance to me. While it isn't difficult to anyone else, it is difficult to someone who dislikes the activity.

I understand not everyone likes doing multiple instances but that is how RO goes I guess. It kind of makes sense lore wise, time related stuff means you gotta have temporal stuff too. And gameplay wise too, just getting your mats from a single dungeon just makes you feel like it's a mobile game(might as well slap a auto farm button on the side).

The better suggestion would be what Conga said, get more crystals out in the market and let new people make money.
OGH boots are still pretty good and everyone wants a realized amdarias(maybe not).

Adding "hurry" (if it isnt already implemented) for old instances like OGH could help people run those old instances btw. The most annoying part of instances like OGH is the waiting for the NPCs talking.

zarkhaev There already is a hurry option to skip the majority of dialogue, the slowest part of OGH is killing enemies to reach the clear count for each stage.

That's a core part of the experience though.
If we can't reduce the NPC dialogue any more to have an effective reduction on instance time and we can't remove the mob killing since it's core to the instance, the issue is the rewards itself not being valuable enough to be worth farming.

Two works arounds to this is artificially making the rewards worth more, by making the recipes they're used in more lucrative, or by increasing the number of rewards given by the instance to compensate for their value.

The latter can affect future content which may also use temporal crystals however, so the former is easier to fix if it doesn't work out well.

Another relief of the game. I don't understand at all how Muh made concessions to you and give 5 crystals instead of 15. I exchanged at the start, when I spent all my stocks and instance coins. What should I do, ask to return the change back?

Pipo You and I have been there long enough to know it's way easier for newer ppl than how it was a year ago. A lesson to get from that is to wait for the tweaks after something new from a patch, like keep a week of reserve before spending everything (and i've been there too don't worry) you'll probably save a lot cause average ppl are too lazy to farm themselves or farm in quantity. 😃 Everything comes to those who can wait 😉
