Mad I was actually wondering about this. I never use these, because as a third job, it required about 4-6 to heal me during each engagement. I can only imagine how fast these burn during rough engagement zones, like depths.
I guess the primary solution to these pots would be succubus pet, along with vamp teeth and possibly some leech shadow gear. People have also grown accustom to using alts and yggs, so this subject hardly ever comes up. We also have The One potion, which adds passive healing and raises survivability. I've not very often used something to heal myself with, unless I was super unprepared and running a new character, otherwise, I've always had some kind of passive healing from somewhere.
I think it would do us all a service if these pots were just adjusted for their beneficial healing property to be doubled, since our HP from 3rd job to 4th job, technically almost doubled. I rarely see these sold, let alone made, so their inherent value is nothing really. It's a shame.
A more simpler solution might be to adjust how much VIT helps with item healing, so that ALL pots are simply adjusted at once. Of course this might effect PVP, so the adjustment has to be balanced not to create an infinite hp with potions craze.
It's morning, but I think we're missing this aspect of a genetic here. Might be fun competing to make the best golden pots on the market, for less than the item is actually worth in material. 😃
