It's no secret that the selection of free costumes is sorely lacking and that the player count has been consistently very low for a long time. Which is why I'd like to make a two-part suggestion that I strongly believe would solve both of those problems.
Part 1: Fashion Point Revision
The first half entails a notable revision to the Fashion Point system. In it's current state players receive 10 Fashion Points for every half an hour of active playtime with a weekly cap of 700 points. In order to achieve 700 points one would have to play for 5 hours a day 7 days a week on average (for a combined total of 35 hours) to hit the current point cap of 700. Which is quite a lot of time for adults with jobs or parents with children who don't get a lot of time to actively play.
Now what I'm suggesting for said revision is to change it so would count all online playtime (including time spent AFK) and increasing the weekly cap to something higher like 1000 points. This would give busy working adults and parents an easier way of acquiring points if it counted even time spent AFK. It would also greatly incentivize people to remain logged in even when they're not doing anything instead of just logging off. Which would in turn greatly increase the online player count and make the server look a lot more appealing to people arriving on the main page for the first time. Because lets be honest, seeing the online player count consistently below 20 players on average is a little discouraging.
Part 2: Costume Shop Limited Revision
The second half entails changing the Costume Shop Limited from stock that rotates every 3 months back to having all the stock permanently available year-round like it used to be. Since honestly, nobody likes having to wait potentially 6-9 months just to get a certain costume they're after. Also, the shop would greatly benefit from having additional costumes added to it.
However, I feel that the Fashion Point prices should all be drastically increased to compensate for having a permanently available stock, additional variety, and being able to gain points even while AFK. An example would be something like say, 3000 points for a costume garment. That way it would take players time to save up for costumes from this shop. Which would in turn lead to players being online more often to save points and lead to increased player count numbers, as I previously stated in Part 1 above. It would also encourage players to think about how they want to use their points and therefore prevent players from just immediately buying up everything.
