Writing this because I wanted to use the Show Quest thingy for Forgotten Time quests but then i showed all 🙁
I would like to suggest some updates to the quest log, so that it's something that feels good to use for players:
- Allow a hide all/deselect all option for all quests in the quest log. There are a lot of different quests in the quest log, and it is a pain to go and deselect all of them.
- When quests are taken, make them default to unselected. Most of the quests you get you don't actually care about, and if you do like ET or something and take the eden quests all of a sudden you're flooded with new quests.
- In tandem with the above, make it so that if a quest is checked to show, that it keeps the quest selected upon completion and acceptance of the quest again.
With these changes, a player will be able to use the quest log in a way where they can specifically select the quests they want to see and not have to see the bunch of quests that they don't intend on doing.
