The popular counter-argument always seems to be that endgame items are supposed to be hard to get, but I don't think that RNG equals difficulty.
I actually got very lucky with my signet enchant and got it on my 2nd try, but if there was a safe route, i'd have gone for that for sure, after seeing two guildies go into the 30+ tries territory.. Meaning, I'd have actually worked a lot harder to get my enchant than I ultimately ended up doing.
Likewise, if I was the one having abysmal luck, I'd have probably just given up on trying as there's no guarantee that any amount of failed attempts have put me into a better position next time.
