BOXING NPC because items are heavy
Description:
Make a box/card for comodities that are useful but heavy and is not for combat, can't be used outside towns and safe areas. For example it's a buyable like 100 ygg berry to buy 1x 100 ygg berry card (can be clicked to produced 100 ygg berry). The intention is not for combat QoL, but it is for merchant QoL because for example at selling oridecon we can only pack like 400 or something into the cart and it is nowhere enough to make it comfy without excessive restocking (might be easier solution than say, directly link merchant items from a special merchant storage for example). Also it could be used as minor zenny sink or muh coin/voucher sink(i would not recommend it to be a free process, rather make it somehow expensive at first until someone complaints then we can lower the packing fee little by little). Latter case would be interesting though but all in all these are luxury QoL for the biggest and the most bulks of merchants and whale buyers and should remain valued as such.
such are the list and the quantity suggestion (but not exhaustive and y'all should add more):
- Yggdrasil berry 100
- Yggdrasil seed 100
- Oridecon 100
- Elunium 100
- Various DK rune mats(e.g. dragon canine, round shell, deser wolf fang) except gold 1000
- Various Forgotten Time mats(e.g. green crystal for time gap weapons) 1000
- BB 100
- Zelunium 1000
- Shadowdecon 1000
- etel dust 5000
- various EM mats (e.g. flame heart) 100
- Various FT wrath items (e.g. wrath of agni) 1000
- Coagulated spell & contaminated magic and other OGH/OGHC items 1000
- Mjolnir treasure 1000
- Bsb 100
Why is this a good idea?
Improving merchant QoL because I see some dudes like those oridecon sellers have it hard and with like 20 merchants (same owner) keep restocking and also with ugly prices not ending with .,000.
Also would be nice to pack some things as card and send it to congratulate someone instead of sending raw materials cuz I think the former case is more classy and Victorian-esque
What risks or downsides does it have?
Probably would alter the commodity market in unexpected way and might cause inflation cuz now you can store more things more comfortably it wouldn't be weird to more confidently bet on some commodities you believe will gain value in long term because now you can see same number of transation amount of trade history but now with 1000x or 100x the quantity, making it a better indicator of confidence because of the higher volume transactions (also more costly for fake buyer to buy out of range prices)
Also wouldn't recommend multiple quantities of boxes/cards because it might cause confusion or scam (e.g. x10 bb card, x100 bb card, x1000 bb card)
Additional Info:
We already have this feature on RO like those violet BG box you click it you ger like 50 violet potions. But the difference is that these are untradable and also Combat QoL instead of being Vending QoL
