Summer Bomb Shell is a pretty balanced activity, over all. It has some of the best costume and to get those you need to grind shells for a considerable amount of time. Pretty demure, as far as usual game routine goes in RO.
I won't ask for a buff(although, i want to, ngl) but i offer a new addition to the gameplay routine of the event.
In short, i propose that the more shells you bring in one go, the more score/points you will get. whether it will be a steady increase or ever changing multiplier - I dont know what will be better, for you - every one of you knows whats best for everyone(or so i was told)
But, for example:
1 shell - 1 point
2 shells - 2 points
3 shells - 4 or 6 points
and so on.
Getting 2 shells is pretty rare, while getting 3 is almost impossible unless luck is on your side.
"Why is this a good idea?" - you ask?
It will provide a new way to play the event. More high moments, to dispell the teduim of farming those shells.
Plus, it can sort of serve a a catchup mechanic for newcomers of the event, since to get all the rewards they need to grind twice the amount at least, which does good for those who did grind last summer, but will significantly dull the "happiness" for newer players.
What risks or downsides does it have?
- In general, the amount of bomb shells delived will inevitably increase, which will lead to last year's ranking and this year's ranking to be incomparable. Buuuuut, the same thing will most likely come to fruition due to the fact that there's twice the amount of rewards to get this year(at least, for new players).
- Last year's summer players might feel displeased about this. I wont elaborate on this, for they will do it better themselves.
- This system might get abused(?). but to be honest, sadly, everything can be as well. we won't know well unless we try.
