Why is this a good idea?
As we all know, style is the real endgame. Halloween is coming up (and earlier each year at that!), and people are looking to style their characters to fit the season… Including pets. We do already have some really strong options available for this kind of thing, but even more pets and/or pet disguises with a Halloween-y theme would be a fun addition.
What risks or downsides does it have?
Someone would have to implement it, meaning more work for the GM team : ( Sorry…

Below is a list of suggested monster sprites that could be good for this purpose. I know the list is long; they are only ideas, and I have no expectations in terms of how many, if any, are implemented.
When compiling the list, I tried focusing on the themes of spooky, gross, and unsettling - bugs, demons, ghosts, zombies, et cetera - since the idea is to have the pets be visually complementary to Halloween outfits. I tried to keep generic looking and cutesy suggestions to a minimum, and to avoid any excessively large and complex sprites that would obstruct view or be hard to match with extant costume sprites.
Wherever I've used parentheses ( ) around a monster name, it means that pet or pet disguise is already implemented in some fashion. An arrow -> is a suggestion for a potential pet evolution line, and a two-way arrow <-> is meant to communicate that I don't know which, if either, should come first.
Since some of the options listed on the Pet System MuhRO Wiki article do not appear on the Pet Fairy's in-game preview list (e.g. Scatleton) and vice versa (e.g. Skogul), please excuse me if I've accidentally requested something that's already been implemented.
Finally, I've used bold to highlight a few of my personal favorites. If I had to pick just one, I'd pick Ghost Cube.
