Title: [Buffing profitability of D1 and Mjol maps]
Description:
After meta changed from depth armor to HoL and nebula set, D1 farming is not profitable anymore, adding the fact that it was never the prime farming map profitability speaking. People only do it for D2 access and subsequently for TDRC craft + enchanting.
After nif2 weapon box implementation, mjol BB farming has been sort of neglected because of its lesser profitability. I think buffing this mjol map will provide more BB farming maps will help cooling down the currently inflationary economy by allowing more supply of BB to reach the market.
Practically, the implementation might be, but not limited to, and either or all:
- put/more zelu + shadowdecon on D1/mjol maps
- Nerf nif2 naked cash (from npc)
- Adjust the mobs zeny (zeny bounty from each killings) of all these maps
Why is this a good idea?
This D1 map is definitely end game tier on par with D2 (while FT 1&2 and yorscalp sanctuary 2 nightmare mode came close), which is also rare as a field map (in contrast to end game instances which we have plethora of). On the other hand I believe current prime farming spots are limited to: nif2, biotemple, and biovenom. Also that Mjol BB farming has been outclassed by nif2 since the weapon box implementation, while it is essentially a harder map. in principle harder farming designated maps should likely to be more profitable than easier ones.
I believe buffing mjol and D1 profitability will provide end game players with alternative farming spots Instead of making them compete with newbies in a crowded map (currently most provitable map is nif2 which is farmable with late- middle game gears). Also that I believe making middle game progression map the most profitable map is not a good game design. Something has to change.
The alternative is to nerf nif2 profitability (naked cash speaking) because I suspected(no proof tho) the npc zeny (naked cash) from the farming is flooding the economy too much.
What risks or downsides does it have?
Nif2 farmer will riot idk
