Lower bsb cost of old gear hammers

If old gear costs the same thing as if it were new, there's no progression curve to be had where they make sense. If you had to choose between using LT boots or Moan of Corruption, there's no point in LT since it costs the same to upgrade, so it's not part of any progression path, just a dead item.

StellarFlare One thing that could be interesting is following the dim cube/os hammer path, as in it doesn't cost BSB but rather items tied to their related content.

In addition, I wanna mention how hammer for LT gear is 150 instance coins and still costs 14 bsbs despite old gear by this point. to the point people are better off just skipping old gears altogether if they just require the same as new, better gear.

StellarFlare This is actually a huge problem with our market. Old gear is being ignored because of the amount of effort necessary to get them. it's meaningless.

Yes this is a problem. It's a direct consequence of having a high rates server and stuff like Dim being too easy to farm.

People can get to lv 260 in a single day
They're immediately able to equip endgame gear
Endgame gear is mostly easy to farm/get (Dim!)
Endgame gear costs the same to refine/grade than outdated gear
Thus most players see no reason to use outdated gear
Thus less people farm instances like villa or sell old gear

Now to be fair nothing stops you from obtaining outdated gear and playing with that until you decide to progress further. I'm a fan of this slow progression game. But the server currently doesn't give you any easier way to go that route, and you'll have to spend big zeny on upgrading lesser gear, as much zeny as you would for endgame stuff. It makes no sense.

do these hammers really need to require 14 bsb? they are outdated and cost way too much, kind of a turn off for newbies going thru the lvl 2 armors..
