You may have noticed loads of client patches, sorry for anyone having trouble with these, but we keep the client download files up to date as fallback ~
Beginning with the next maintenance we're going to purge names of unused characters every maintenance.
This refers to any character below level 200 and not being logged in in the past 90 days.
Client
We've been looking into possible solutions regarding the directx9 white boxes/textures glitches and crashes. Sadly we didn't find a perfect fit solution yet, but we still want to provide the options we checked and are checking.
We added Directx 9 Wrapper to our custom patches list.
- dgvoodoo2: no glitches, smoother, more vulnerable to crashes (this might be depending on your system)
- dxvk (Vulkan): no glitches, less crashes, breaks ability to type any non-english characters
