arent we playing in private servers to have different experience than officials?
if you think this change is bad, i think you should give another reason other than it being that way in kRO

aewuu Temporal spells and gemstones are items for an older content, and temporal circlets are staple for PvP/BG/WoE builds
With the items now being a hot commodity in the PVM scene, there is now more demand than supply.

there is a lot of supply just that theyre currently priced expensively but they can always farm it themselves.
i for one never even spent any temporal gemstone when i enchanted my circlets, it just wasnt really necessary.
for temporal spells, just give it time its still fresh so people are taking this opportunity to raise the price..
surely itll go down eventually, hopefully

Everyone comes in and wants everything at once, and then starts complaining that they've already accomplished everything and don't want to play anymore. "Mechanics" based upon gambling aren't content.
They are used in the game industry for very particular reasons.
None of which is about gameplay.
Or the game at all for that matter.

The reason why I suggested this is because Old GH challenge is an older content. Now that Depths2 hg/weapons are out, there is no reason to use temporal circlets from OGH-C.

OGH-C circlets are a niche to pvp content, while it can still be used for early-mid PVM content, applying this change will not only decrease the barrier to pvp, but also pvm. Players will get to endgame content much faster and lets be honest, depth2 is another world of grind.

aewuu How did you understand that this is old content? Circlet from OGHC is the strongest hat in the game, at a cheap price. There is no OLD CONTENT in the game, all gears are needed, some for farming experience, others for zeny and for the final game, respectively.

There definitely is a lot of obsolete content tho.
For a good reason too.
When those "stepping stone" kinda gears takes as much effort/farm than stronger options, how do you justify making it?
This is literally the reason why people skip this or that gear.
They are deemed not worth it because less cost efficient than potential alternatives/not cost efficient at all.
The Temporal circlets fall into the latter category I feel.
The rate at which you obtain the materials necessary for its enchants is absolutely ass, especially if you'd rather run COGH in a party.
So suggesting a (not even that huge) QoL on it doesn't seem like much of a stretch.
It'd still be RNG, just a bit less (and thus a little more cost effective).

Please provide me actual numbers in how OGHC is the strongest hat in the game compared to for example Grade A vespers, and Depth 2 Headgears.

aewuu And you latched onto a word I didn't point out, one of the strongest caps in the game. Yeah, sorry, my mistake. You take top gear ignoring the intermediate caps, very interesting. Or are you going to do Beelz or Boitata hat, for 400m, and even in that case, OGHC circlets come to your rescue, make ez / refine with tickets. Convenient position to cover yourself with "old content". When the new gear comes out with the Nebula combo, will you ask for easier enchats on Varmundt Armour?

What do you propose then? You are aware that I am trying to advocate for newer pvm, and pvp players here right? I did not ask for a guaranteed, choose the enchant. There is still some gatcha involved to get exactly what you need.

With the mindset that you display, you are gatekeeping both sides of the player population.

Look, I want others to enjoy the same things that I enjoy, hence why I am bothering to make a suggestion.

#1 complaint and reason why PVMers/newer players do not want to try PVP is because it is too much of an investment for something they dont know they will like, and if you already in the pvp scene, at this moment in time; catching up to players who are fully built will take more resources and time.

As a result, players who are more established has an advantage. That is not fun. I don't want to pvp and win due to a gear advantage. This suggestion allows for newer and current players to have proper chances to be competitive, and to have fun.

Another note, not everyone is 12 years old anymore. We all have other commitments, and that is why most suggestion trends to quality of life changes.

aewuu He has no real reason but be bitter that you, and a lot of others, want access to these gears, without putting up EQUAL effort, causing most people to skip it because it's pointless. He refuses to understand that.

Those circlets are old gear, hence the Level 1 armor initial. just today, I tried to make an old mitra, and I have to farm quite a lot of items for HOURS just to be able to obtain it at +0. It's just weird that something so obsolete requires effort.

When I was new, I automatically skipped everything beyond the illusion combo for casters, and immediately created the MVP hat, and I was glad, because the amount of zenny and effort to create anything previous, would just slow me down even moreso. The zenny investment is just terrible, when it could be used on something worthwhile instead. It's just a giant red flag for anyone who knows the gears beyond.

We need an actual rebalance of ALL the old gear, and make them affordable, so that new players have something to catch up with, besides "oh, you got your grace set? k, now go straight to gray wolf". Like, what? @_@ everything in between is just lost to translation.

I consider this a giant issue that kro created, and forgot to fix, after 4th jobs released. A lot of our damage already comes from stats, which makes some of the weaker things hold less value in terms of gear progression. I feel the less value in terms of damage, the less it should cost in comparison. Utterly pointless.

EvilLumi Just to chime in, the reason why it is an issue here is because we playing on much higher rate that transitional gear is just not so worth it with the zeny needed to invest.

In kRO the rate is low that having transitional gear is important to ease the farming and levelling before they need to move on.

This is why some of the kRO gear that being released (especially the cash shop) might make us go "?" because it seems weaker than gear that already released previously. It is because they're a "catch up" gear.

But yes I agreed that since it is a transitional gear if its possible there should be eased up here to get compared to official.

[deleted] Yup. We can reach 200 with just a grace set, making all those other things just meaningless. It's not like there will be a market crash over OLD content that no one attempts to make, because it basically doesn't exist. Giving new players the option to make old glast heim temporal gear and +10 them, might help people new players progress a bit easier. Just having access to these things, and making them FUN to make, to test with silly builds, will help new players settle in without seeing a giant grind in their minds and just run away. The real gearing part starts at gray wolf, and that is an entry to the content we're meant to experience.
