As for the idea: This would be difficult to implement. I mean, you would need an upgrade system, enchant system, all of these tools that FORM your gear to your specific level of testing. It would take forever to make this happen, considering the amount of gear we have. What you're looking for, is a test server, which would allow you to make these items and test them. Much faster to make. Unfortunately, the test server idea has been denied already, and I kinda agree with it. A test server would allow players to define a Meta, and everyone would just sell the same thing, and farm in the same zone. People are like ants lately, and they just take a path most commonly used, which is why NOT knowing what something can do, allows a market to thrive.
