Bust Shell in Summer even

hello!! Summer event has been fun <3 Can the spawn rate of the bust shells increase a bit, not too much but just enough for other players to find mobs in other parts? Maybe like 2% increase, not much but at least there will be more shells running around. With the players farming for 250 shells, it takes a while to get at least 1 shell with it's RNG. Since the number or duds we get are more than the times we get at least 1 with bomb.

I would increase the time till it explodes.

When you kill one at the end of the map you can’t get to the npc in time.

boembchen There are 2 bomb shell fridge locations, one near the bomb expert guy and one at the top (170, 304), so once you get used to the map's structure you can always deliver it in time.

Also thanks to the gm team, love the summer events, its relaxing and fun. I was unhappy with some of the previous events about them being too frustrating and unreasonable at times (e.g. I still have ptsd from Boy's Pure Heart, and not knowing the required amount of items for the rewards in that event was not good since we couldn't decide for ourselves if it was worth committing to the quests or not). Really glad to see this one doesn't have anything like that. We know we need 250 shells for each costume. Still very difficult for sure, but not in a frustrating way.

jinbou not always. if you catch a shell on the left on the edge of the map, or on the mountain above, no matter how you run, you won’t make it in time.

iKat I guess maybe if they're at the very edge cells of those places? But it pretty much never happens to me, and I already collected over 250 shells, I always make it in time when I start from around those places too

iKat i wouldnt say its impossible but its very risky like 1-2 second allowance, i usually fail coz of the weird curve by the trees before reaching racing area, and i have 250+ ping so i think success mostly come from proper pathing.

never had an issue with hill/mountain part idk why its included, imo its way easier than lower left water area. 2-4 sec allowance

jinbou may be you have perfect ping? ) never lag, or something else.
I also collected more than 250 shells 🙂

iKat oh right, that explains it. Yep I have very good ping 😌 Sure it'd probably be good to add another second or two for people with ping then

iKat Congratulations, you spent far more time on this than anyone else. The issue here is, this is tedious. If the goal is to potentially annoy a player, then that achievement is immediately imposed. There's a reason why this post appeared, and it's not because people are lazy, it's because it's not FUN. The amount to get, based on luck no less, is an automatic uphill battle, just for an event. The NUMBER will put people off. TEDIOUS, not FUN. LESS IS MORE.

EvilLumi I don't quite understand why you are writing this to me 🙂 I think that the summer event generally is fun, and that the GMs did a huge job. Also i think we can try to fix some annoying things by writing about them. I’m only talking about my opinion and I don’t understand why this evokes any emotions in you.

Each of us talks about our own experience - I talk about mine. I never have time to get the shells from the very edge of the map on the left. Also, I was only able to carry a shell from the top of the mountain once.

But personally, I solve this more simply: I don’t kill shells where it’s risky, or I just kill them so that mobs don’t accumulate. And I don’t even try to carry the shell to the refrigerator)

But I believe that this annoys some people and we can try to change it. That's why I wrote my post in support of other people.
