Timer for Buffs

Dear GMs,

I noticed that when in town duration of bbg, and manuals timer halts, I don’t know if someone else already suggested this or its on the works already but, can we do the same for the other consumables like almighty, brilliant scroll, and every consumables in eden vending machine?

i did thinking of these suggestion for a while and i like with the suggestion

however, i would love to know if there are any negative / downside from the suggestion itself, if its works for the eden buff. (im affraid if there is any downside that i missed of) so it wont be mis-used / abused for something.

SpaceHelm Likewise, I've been thinking about this one, wondering if there could be any potential downside/abuse to it. I don't think there is though, because, if there was a downside, it would be more severe with bubblegum.

Bubblegum was the "risky" consumable to change, since if abused it can mess up the server economy. Eden consumables like The One Potion on the other hand are pretty tame compared to bubblegum. If this timer pause feature hasn't caused a problem with bubblegum, then there's no way it can cause a problem with other eden consumables.

I would personally really love to see this change. Currently it's kinda stressful farming with bbg/eden consumables for me, it gets on my nerves if I get interrupted with work/discord/ingame chat, or if I get lag spikes after using bbg/the one potion. If this was implemented I could just go to town and chill when I want, would no longer feel like I have to do a full 30min farm session or log out after using eden consumables, it'd make farming much more stress-free/enjoyable for me.

SpaceHelm when I think of town/s I don’t see any way it could be used since there is nothing farmable in town… Maybe exclude nif and go 52? I may be missing out on something here. Help me.

Please do it for guyak, it's kinda frustrating to still have like 4 minutes of bbg left when guyak is run out and you walk like a retired old man going in his 90s 👀

Yesss pls! My alts always get kicked off and the time it takes to relog always messes up the sync i have with items!

Just wondering if there's any economic downside to this.

I am thinking there are more positives than negatives. It seems much more appealing because consumables would not go to waste. Either way, you log out your character to stop the buffs from running, so it would be the same if the buff timers paused while in town.

It eliminates the need to relog and remind your party-mates to "ping me if we're running," since it would be more practical to gather in town.

Plus, pausing buffs would make balancing real-life situations with in-game farming easier to manage. You could pick up the game again when you have the time, especially when dealing with a full-time job or unexpected emergencies.

We could probably leave out ASPD pots and herb activators since they are part of the market. Just include the buffs we get for "free" from coin vending machines.

+1 Walking like a snail with 2-5 minutes bbg left is kinda sad. 🙁
