I wouldn’t feel comfortable with other people updating my guides tbh, and I don’t know if other guide makers would want that either. If people made mistakes in their updates or make updates that I don’t agree with, I would still be on the hook for those changes. And if people ask questions from the guide, I want to be equipped to answer any questions from it which I wouldn’t be able to do with other people making changes. I do try my best to keep my guides updated tho so im aware this is probably not about my guides, but that’s just my two cents on updating other people’s guides in general.
Probably the best way is for other people to make guides if guides are outdated, but that’s a lot easier said than done.
Maybe a good way to update these guides is to move the automatic “last edited” that wiki provides to the top for user guides, so players viewing a guide will see immediately whether something has been updated recently. However, it’s not full proof as that will appear for any small change made by the initial creator or not.
Alternatively, When episode 21 came out I added a “NOT UP TO DATE WITH EP 21” on all my guides until I could update it. Maybe a better option would be that we make it common place for guide creators to manually add a “Last Updated:” date at the top. If people like this option, I’ll go ahead and add it to my own guides hahaha. And someone can add it to all of the other guides too. But guide creators will have to make sure that they keep the date for those updated.
